AMARANTHE To Support SYMPHONY X In Tunisia

AMARANTHE (formerly AVALANCHE) — the new project featuring Olof Mörck (NIGHTRAGE, DRAGONLAND),Jake E (ex-DREAM EVIL, DREAMLAND),Andy Solveström (WITHIN Y, EVILDOER, CIPHER SYSTEM),Morten Lowe Sorensen (THE ARCANE ORDER, SUBMISSION) and Johan Andreassen (ex-ENGEL) — will support SYMPHONY X at the 8eme Festival Méditerranéen de la Guitare on March 26, 2011 in Tunis, Tunisia.

Commented Mörck: "Naturally, it is a great honor for us to make our first show for our friends in Africa, and even before our debut album is out at that!

"Tunisia seems to have a great metal following, and AMARANTHE will be proud to apear with SYMPHONY X to conquer to ancient grounds of mighty Carthage! See you all there, crazy Tunisians!"

AMARANTHE recently entered Hansen Studio in Ribe, Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, MERCENARY, NIGHTRAGE) to begin recording its debut album for a spring 2011 release via Spinefarm Records.

AMARANTHE vocalist Elize Ryd was selected to fill the female singer spot on KAMELOT's last European tour.
